Grain customs 1743, Pagodas 7415-28-0; 1744, 3850-19-36:] "The Decrease in Customs on Grain proceeds chiefly from the Disturbances that have Subsisted in the Grain Countrys to the Northward on the Coast, as well as in Bengal, And thereby, the Scarcity and dearness of it, which has made the Importation here, fall about 2046 Garce Less than in the year preceeding; As also, in Some part, from the Some thing lesser Value to which the Large Importation from the Country about us has Limited it."
